It's just a couple of days before we leave and guess what - Liz has decided to get sick. I must inform you all that I did tell her that if she kept up the level of work (7.00am to 6.30pm everyday inc weekends) she'd get sick. "I told you so" didn't go down real well! I also tried "your body is trying to tell you to slow down" - I received nothing but the steelly glare surrounded by copious blisters of pus!
After getting the last few days of school off to recover I think she'll be OK to leave on Sunday morning. She sounds cheerful enough so things are looking up.
I'm all packed ready to go - Liz is still considering which bag to take - she says she's going to pack Saturday morning!!!
The house and cars are cleaned (until the boys use them - the house will be a mess before the plane wheels leave Australian soil and the cars will be filthy and out of fuel very quickly). I live in hope that everything will be clean and tidy when we get home in December - yes I know but I do believe in miracles!
I would just like to point out I didn't "decide to get sick" as suggested up above. As for his statement about the clean house, well not yet. The cars will not get filthy or out of petrol because the boys are not going to use them whilst we are away. Liz
